When it comes to creating the rooms of your dreams Lucy Alexander and builder Harry Hoffen are out to prove that you really can get the look for less, creating brilliant builds that simply have to come in Bang on Budget.

There can be all sorts of unforeseens, so how do you stay on track?

This new series uses clever tips and tricks to help turn some tired homes into some stunning spaces.

Episode 1

Lucy and Harry help the Flinter family to bring in a complex build on a tight budget. They must knock through the kitchen and dining room to create one large living space, while upstairscome up with a design for sports mad Jack that is pitch perfect. 

Episode 2

Today, Lucy and Harry are in Newport, Wales, to help Hayley update the 70's décor of the inherited house she grew up in. Can Lucy create the ambitious country style kitchen Hayley wants and revamp the all pink bathroom?

Episode 3

Lucy meets a couple after her own heart - Neil & Kerry from Bristol are the King and Queen of bargain hunters. But with the kitchen and utility room left under last, the budget tighter than ever. Lucy and Harry must help them to create a quirky modern kitchen and standout shower room, balance the couple's love of bright yellow whilst balancing the books.

Episode 4

With a small 2-bed Victoriancity flat, the Maxwell's need Lucy and Harry's help to create a layout that works for everyone but also acoomodates a cosy sofa and dining area. Upstairs, the bedroom needs some cool urban flair. But with Amanda set on spending £400 on fitted wardrobes, will there be any money left to transform these rooms?

Episode 5

Linda and Dave want to create a bright, modern kitchen diner, and a boutique hotel style bathroom, but with money tight, realising their dreams will be tough. Lucy and Harry come to the rescue with some money saving tips, but hadn't bargained for a £3500 fridge!

Episode 6

Dorrie and Simon Dowling recently bought a 1930s house on the South Coast, featuring a 12 seat hot tub and fussy 80's kitchen. Getting rid of those, and knocking down a few walls, they're looking to create a grey shaker style kitchen diner. But with expensive tastes and no budget to match, can Lucy and Harry help them transform the house to the home they want?

Episode 7

Bristol newly-weds Georgia and Dan have hopes of turning a 3-bed semi into a family home of the future. They've managed a smart new kitchen and bathroom, but now money has all but run out. Lucy and Harry's task is to maximise every remaining penny to create a 1930s style sitting room and sumptuous master bedroom.

Episode 8 - Monday 20th August

Now that their children have flown the nest, retired GP Sian and her physiotherapist husband Jeremy have downsized to a small semi, but are stuck with what to do with their bedroom and bathroom. Harry comes to the rescue with some glitter grout and clever storage solutions, while Lucy sources some fabulous floral wallpaper. 

Episode 9 - Tuesday 21st August

Liz and Sam have designer tastes - but not a budget to match. They've already coughed up £3000 on a new sofa, stretching the budget even further. With the downstairs in need of major remodelling, can Lucy and Harry come up with a smart layout to unlock the house's potential?

Episode 10 - Wednesday 22nd August

Grandparents Mary and Andy have downsized to a bungalow for what they plan to be their last house, so they want to get it right to make it feel like home. Lucy and Harry must help them achieve the high end, white high-gloss kitchen look for a lot less, but when it comes to wooden flooring it seems Andy has his own ideas.

Episode 11 - Thursday 23rd August

Chloe wants to create a cosy home for herself and her son. In her bedroom she's got no storage room for her clothes, while downstairs she wants a retro-style sitting room but doesn't think it can be done on her very small budget. Lucy and Harry are here to help prove her wrong. 

Episode 12 - Friday 24th August

Lucy and Harry help firefighter Craig and wife Suzanne tackle their terrible bedroom, a dated disaster last decorated over 20 years ago. Plus, it's all hands to the pump to sort out youngest son Kyle's bedroom. Can Lucy and Harry give them their dream rooms while avoiding budget nightmares?
